Subiaco Lenten Retreat
With Fr. Patrick Boland O.S.B.
March 24 - 25, 2026
“Be Not Afraid: A Journey with God in the Desert”
The Archangel Gabriel said, “Be Not Afraid” when he announced to Mary that she would be the mother of our Savior, Jesus Christ. The same invitation applies to our lives. God is calling us to his kingdom and saying, “Be Not Afraid, I am with you!” In ancient times, Holy Men and Women went out into the desert to meet God and battle demons. Through a series of conferences and liturgies, we hope to offer you a time for prayer, reflection, reconciliation, and adoration of our God that resembles a journey into and return from the desert. May this Lenten season fill you with an outpouring of God’s grace and mercy that is abundant, healing and fulfilling!
